About The Garden of Mischief
The idea for The Garden of Mischief was initially inspired by Hieronymus Bosch’s painting, The Garden of Earthly Delights. In his wonderfully humorous and enigmatic triptych, Bosch invites viewers to his world of wild ecstasy and whimsical weirdness. Driven by the boundless imagination Bosch illustrated in his painting, I too wished to create an imaginary world of my own. The Garden of Mischief is a land erected from madness and chaos where whimsical animal and human characters grow wild together. This dreamlike landscape is dominated by gigantic fruits, insects, and plants that often feast on humans and animals.
